Snakes, Snouts and Smoothies in the Jungle

It may not have been a jungle but it was certainly full of challenges when Laraine Moody took part in I’m a CEO Get Me Out of Here! in aid of St Nicholas Hospice.

It was the third time the event has been held at Nowton Park and 12 bosses took part including Laraine our vice principal for employer engagement.

The tasks also involved a blindfolded guess the animal test which included handling a bearded dragon, corn snake, gecko, rat, cockroaches and morio worms.  Just like the jungle there were some disgusting challenges  including  a tripe and mealworm smoothie followed by pigs’ ears, eyes, snout and brains on the menu. But before that they had to each build a shelter, chop logs and start a fire.

Laraine raised more than £1,500 for the hospice.
